Quality Control/Service Supervisor

Due to working independent, outdoors and with infrequent contact with customers we are a low-risk place of employment. We cleanup, and remove dog waste from hundreds of residential yards and apartment communities across Clark County each week.
We are a family owned Pet Waste Management business - since 2013 we have been helping individuals and communities throughout Clark County, WA keep their yards and communities poop free. This in turn keeps our streams and rivers healthier for us and the wildlife to enjoy.
We are looking for an individual with integrity, who is self directed, independent, pays attention to detail, and a reliable worker. Someone who is available weekdays during daylight hours. While not a difficult job it does require you to be physically fit and capable of working in all weather types (Sun, Heat, Rain, Cold). We offer competitive pay and mileage reimbursement. We work Monday - Friday (one Saturday per year).
You will have the following Holidays off: -New Years - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day - Veteran's Day - Thanksgiving - Christmas
We are currently looking for a part time supervisor with a flexible schedule between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. Typical work week will be approximately 18-20hrs/wk BUT some weeks could be 40hrs when covering for other employees shifts (compensation for these weeks will be adjusted accordingly). As we continue to grow and this position becomes more developed it could become a full time position.
Duties:
- You will be responsible for completing all new hire paperwork
- training new hires and supervising performance and quality.
- Mentoring staff as needed (Currently 2-3 individuals)
- Performing pet waste removal service as needed.
- Covering shifts as needed
- Checking on quality of service and following up on customer complaints as needed.
- Keeping supplies stocked and orderly
- Helping with regular & relevant posts to company social media
- Running company ads on social media
- Occasionally represent the company at community events
- Other tasks as directed
Preferred Experience & Qualifications - willing to consider the right individual without these qualifications:
- Experience working with dogs in a professional manner
- Experience with marketing & posting on company social media pages
- Experience supervising a small team (mentoring, correcting, and helping team members grow).
Minimum Job Requirements:
- At least 18yrs old
- Valid Driver's License (No accidents or alcohol/drug citations in the past 3 years)
- Reliable Transportation (you will be using your vehicle for work - ideal vehicle is a small pickup or small suv)
- Drug Free (including marijuana)
- Smart Phone (less than 3 years old) with data plan.
- Good vision (corrective lenses are ok)
- Able to traverse uneven ground, including up and down hills, over rocks, grass, mud, dirt, stairs, etc.
- Read and write English
- Use and follow GPS directions - as well as able to locate addresses when the gps doesn't take you to the correct location.
- Get in and out of a vehicle 20+ times a day
- grip with your hands
- Perform repetitive movements with hands, wrist, elbows, shoulders, etc.
- walk, twist, bend, etc.
- LOVE DOGS
- ENJOY working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month (part time 20hrs/wk)
